Farleda Verify
Is this calculation record unchanged?
Once the service is released, check a Trip Carbon Passport without an application account. Verification shows whether its content matches the Farleda signature. It does not confirm completed travel or actual avoided emissions.

What the signature proves
A valid signature means the signed payload matches Farleda’s HMAC key for its declared methodology version. It protects the integrity of that payload; it does not establish that every input or assumption is correct.
Verification establishes neither a person’s identity nor completed travel. Both require additional evidence.
A passport documents a saved plan and calculation. Current payloads contain rounded leg summaries, traveller counts and declared versions, not complete frozen sources and applied factors for independent replay. Verification is operated by Farleda; independent public-key verification is a development objective.
For auditors & developers
A documented interface for signature checks.
curl -X POST https://farleda.eu/api/public/v1/passport/verify \
-H 'content-type: application/json' \
-d '{ "passport": "..." }'Who verifies
Built for the parties who need to check.
Insurers
Review the calculation record as one input. Insurance eligibility or evidence of completed travel requires additional checks.
Employers
Inspect a planning estimate and its assumptions. Suitability for regulated reporting requires separate assessment and evidence.
Climate platforms
Reference signed calculation records with documented assumptions. A flight comparison does not prove causally avoided emissions and is not an offset or credit.
