Press contactFarleda: understand journeys, connect Europe. The current planner captures destinations and preferences. Comparison shows duration, changes and modelled emissions. The Passport keeps a signed planning record; it does not confirm completed travel. All figures are synthetic examples. Open beta from 31 October 2026. Seeking pilot partners: farleda.eu.
Boilerplate
Farleda is developing infrastructure for sustainable travel, starting with rail in Europe. Its product connects journey planning, modelled emissions comparisons and signed calculation records in the Trip Carbon Passport. The goal is a shared foundation for travellers and partner applications. Rail and infrastructure companies can test a defined use case in a twelve-week pilot. The free open beta is planned for 31 October–31 December 2026. Farleda is operated and currently funded by Stoicera Group in Austria. A Passport documents a calculation; it does not by itself prove travel or avoided emissions.
What Farleda does
Farleda connects a journey plan with the sources and assumptions behind its emissions estimate.
Build multi-day European journeys across train, bus and ferry, including stays and transfers, from open mobility data rather than a flight inventory.
Compare sourced CO₂e estimates across modes. Every result names its factors, methodology version and data quality.
Save a calculation in a signed Trip Carbon Passport. Signature verification through Farleda checks integrity; it does not confirm completed travel.
Key facts
Editorial note
A verified Farleda record has a valid Farleda signature, has not been altered after issuance, and names the methodology and sources used for its claim. Verification concerns integrity and traceability. It does not mean that a regulator approved an environmental claim, and it never turns avoided emissions into a carbon credit or offset.
Company
Farleda is a product of Stoicera Group in Perg, Upper Austria. The team is building a neutral European travel layer around open mobility infrastructure: traveller-facing planning, transparent emissions accounting and evidence that can be reviewed by partners, journalists and the public. Statutory operator details remain available in the imprint.

How Farleda is funded
Stoicera Group currently covers operating costs. Paid pilots for rail and infrastructure companies and later subscriptions are planned revenue streams. Farleda intends to apply to a suitable Horizon Europe call and seeks research and pilot partners; no grant award or submitted application is claimed. Advertising, offsets and the sale of personal data do not finance the product.
